Our brave farmers continuously receive government harassment for the peaceful act of producing food and feeding their communities. Each day, we are given the choice to support them in multiple ways. Ben Stone, of BadQuaker.com has recently given a thorough lecture on civil disobedience, what it is and what it is not. He calls to us to engage in what he calls “Beyond Civil Disobedience” so that we can have a greater impact. In his 5-part series, Stone delivers history, science, inspiration, ideas and thought-provoking calls to action. The series is imperative for advocates of food choice. Please listen to the series and comment below with your reactions and thoughts.
Wherever you are in your personal journey toward clean living and local food, thank you for joining me in mine. I look forward to sharing it with you.
